Thousands of people want free DVDs, all of a sudden (see article). I think we can do it, if we decrease demand (especially from people who don't need the movie because they can afford it themselves) and increase the amount of people willing to pledge copies of the movie they have.
Other ideas? Thoughts?

Paramount and their distribution companies should have a "stripped -down, minimum packaging, no frills but full content" version of the DVD exclusively to spread the word. Having people pass around the movie amongst friends and relatives will also help.
maybe there's a way to pass on the dvd after someone watches it? perhaps that way you can spread the message without having to buy a copy for everyone who wants to see it. of course, there will be people out there who just want a free movie for the hell of it.
